My design style is dark, cosy, and minimalistic — but ultimately, your kitchen should reflect you, not me. So when I work with a new client, I start by understanding what colours make them feel at home and how they actually live day to day. Every detail should work for your habits, your lifestyle, and the way your family uses the space.

Tell us about your design style and approach?

For me, the first consultation is everything. That’s where I can show you features that suit your home perfectly — and introduce you to possibilities you hadn’t even considered. Knowledge is the best thing I can give a new client. As a result, you leave that first conversation feeling informed, excited, and confident about what’s possible.

What are your core strengths as a kitchen designer?

I love helping people who are new to the world of kitchen design find their footing. For example, I take time to understand what’s important to you before making any recommendations. From there, I guide you through the options step by step — so every decision feels considered, not overwhelming. Ultimately, I want your experience at Nolte Kitchens Teddington to feel personal. Therefore, I make sure no two consultations are the same.

Are there specific materials or finishes you love working with?

I’m a big fan of the Perfect Plus door fronts, particularly in dark colours. They’re incredibly versatile — for instance, they pair beautifully with feature units and create that rich, considered look that I love. Whether you’re drawn to deep tones or want to mix light and dark, Perfect Plus gives you a finish that genuinely stands out.

What is your favourite Nolte Kitchen range/feature?

It has to be the Black Green Perfect Plus door fronts paired with the hidden plinth ladder. The colour is stunning — bold without being overwhelming. And the hidden plinth ladder is one of those details that makes a Nolte kitchen feel truly engineered. It’s a feature clients never expect, but once they see it, they love it.

What is your best piece of kitchen design advice?

Take your time. This is the heart of your home and it shouldn’t feel rushed. More importantly, find someone who makes your experience unique to you — someone who listens, asks the right questions, and helps you create a kitchen you’ll love for years to come.

Any fun facts or hobbies outside of design?

Outside of work, I’m a big Warhammer fan — I paint and play at weekends. I also love visiting art museums, which honestly feeds straight back into my eye for colour, detail, and design.
