Home Inspiration Why buy a Nolte German Kitchen?

When you read the term ‘German kitchens’, you probably have a good idea of what to expect: a kitchen made to the highest quality and delivered with the utmost efficiency. And when you buy from Nolte Kitchens, that’s exactly what you get.

But when it comes to your dream German kitchen, it can’t just be about efficiency and precision. It has to be about beauty, satisfaction and a kitchen design that doesn’t just improve your space, it elevates your entire home.

So, from small details to spectacular design, here’s why Nolte Kitchens should be your German kitchen maker of choice.

Nolte 2023 Kitchen Brand of The Year Winner

We’re the most popular German kitchen company. Fact.

Kitchens are the most important room in the house. They’re where friends and families gather, where plans are made and parties happen. They’re the soul of any home. Oh, and they’re great for cooking in, too.

Point is, your kitchen has to be perfect, which means when you buy a German kitchen, you want to buy from a trusted company. Good to know, then, that Nolte Kitchens are a multi-award-winning German kitchen maker.

In fact, in March 2023 we were once again named Germany’s favourite kitchen brand by the German Institute for Service Quality survey — an accolade we’ve won four out of the last six occasions.

The survey rated 14 German kitchen makers and scored Nolte Kitchens as the best in kitchen quality, design, value for money and for its extensive range of designs.

Such recognition is great for our trophy cabinet, but it’s even better for our customers, who know that buying a Nolte German kitchen is a promise of excellence at every step in the process.

And when it comes to the most important room in the house, nothing else will do.

Customised German kitchens in every style, shape and colour

Your kitchen should reflect you, your home and your lifestyle. You might want to go calm and understated, sleek and modern, warm and rustic — or a little bit of everything.

Well, thanks to the considerable range of kitchen styles, colours, units and appliances we offer, your Nolte German kitchen can take whatever form you like.

15 main colours, 29 front ranges, 183 front colour variations, 43 worktop styles, 83 handles — the possibilities are almost endless, which means getting a kitchen that’s truly yours is all part of the Nolte Kitchens promise.

And if that feels like too much choice, don’t worry. When you visit our kitchen showrooms, our designers will help you work out what’s right for you.

German kitchen design: the dream is in the detail

We think of everything when it comes to making your dream kitchen.

We combine the expertise of our highly experienced team with digitised production to make sure our kitchens are made to the highest standards and most precise finishes.

Every Nolte kitchen unit, appliance and fitting is labelled with clear instructions for your installer, down to the finest detail — which means an easier time for them and a quicker install for you.

In fact, a Nolte kitchen installation takes about 2 to 3 days quicker than a typical kitchen, so you’ll be making fewer cups of tea for your installer than you might have thought…

Our attention to detail extends to everything we do. During transit, for example, we wedge clever toggles within each unit so they stay statue-still — meaning no dents or dints in your Nolte kitchen during transportation.

And because of our super-secure packaging and the thorough clean we give every element of your German kitchen, everything gets to you in perfect, pristine condition, ready for your installer to fit — and for you to marvel at.

Innovators in German kitchen design

We’ve been making kitchens since 1958, and when you’ve been doing something every day for 65 years, you get pretty good at it — especially when you have a team that’s always finding better ways to do something.

Take our MatrixArt handleless kitchen, where we’ve worked the finger pull into the cabinets, giving the kitchen design a sleek, minimal look that’s as easy to use as it is easy on the eye.

Paired with our Emotion Light — an LED dimmable system that changes smoothly between warm, cold and colourful lighting — and the effect is stop-you-in-your-tracks satisfying. No matter how many times you see it.

But we don’t just innovate with the fancy stuff — we care just as much about function as we do form and feeling.

For example, our German kitchens offer various planning depths for worktops. So if you need more space (perfect for, shall we say, more flamboyant cooks), we can offer you 75cm tops instead of the usual 60cm. This gives you more room to cook up a storm — and 32% more storage space in the cabinets underneath. Gordon Ramsay, eat your heart out.

Are German kitchens worth the money?

We see our beautiful German kitchens more as spaces to treasure than ways to accumulate treasure. That said, it’s commonly reported that a new kitchen adds between 5 and 15% to the value of your home.

So while a new kitchen might seem like a big investment, it’s worth remembering that the kitchen is the most valuable room in the house. And if you build it right — i.e., if you come to us — it’s a room that’ll help you make memories — and, when the time is right, make money too.

So, is a Nolte German kitchen a good idea?

A Nolte kitchen is a great idea.

Of course, we might be a little biased, but we think from the moment you step into our showrooms, you’ll soon see why we love what we make.
