Tell us about your design style and approach?
Starting with an appointment at our Glasgow kitchen showroom, we will explore kitchen ranges, discuss your ideas, and talk through your space, style, and budget. I believe the best kitchens come from understanding what will help you truly enjoy your home. From there, I create a tailored kitchen design proposal with plans and 3D visuals, so you can clearly see how your new kitchen will look and function. We then refine the details together before moving forward with the project.
What are your core strengths as a kitchen designer?
I listen carefully to my clients and focus on creating thoughtfully considered kitchen designs that suit how they live. I pay close attention to detail throughout the design process to ensure the space works both practically and visually. I enjoy working with textured materials such as real wood, wood-effect finishes, and glass. When paired with modern matt kitchen colours, these materials add depth, warmth, and a sense of understated luxury.
What is your favourite Nolte Kitchen range/feature?
I love our thoughtfully designed Nolte kitchen products and how seamlessly they work together in a space. One combination I particularly enjoy is NeoLODGE in Blackened Oak paired with the Manganese Bronze full-height glass units and integrated lighting. Together, they create a kitchen that feels warm, refined, and beautifully balanced.
What is your best piece of design advice?
Don’t follow stereotypes or trends too closely. The most timeless kitchen designs focus on what matters most to you — whether that’s improving the layout, adding better storage, or creating space for the appliances you use every day. Working with an experienced kitchen designer can help guide the process and turn your ideas into a well-planned, functional kitchen.
Any fun facts or hobbies outside of design?
When I’m not designing kitchens, I enjoy cooking, painting, practising yoga, and hiking in the beautiful hills across Scotland.
