I’m a kitchen designer based at our Richmond showroom, where I help clients create kitchens that feel effortless, personal, and truly at the heart of the home. My interest in design started early, when I was always decorating and personalising the spaces I lived in. Today, I enjoy helping clients do the same with their kitchens — creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also make people feel relaxed, at home, and able to love where they live. During your appointment, I'll focus on understanding how you want to live in your space and what will make you feel truly at home in your kitchen.

Tell us about your design style and approach?

I begin by understanding my clients’ experience with home projects. Some may be renovating for the first time, while others may have decorated or completed building work before. This helps me guide the kitchen design process in a way that suits their confidence and needs. Next, we discuss budget to ensure the investment is focused on what matters most. I also explore their personal style, including what they like and don’t like. Finally, I consider the space itself — such as natural light, layout, and connections to other rooms — to make sure the kitchen design works perfectly for their home.

What are your core strengths as a kitchen designer?

My core strength as a kitchen designer is listening. By truly understanding my clients’ needs, lifestyle, and priorities, I can create a kitchen design that feels personal, practical, and perfectly suited to their home.

Are there specific materials or finishes you love working with?

I enjoy combining different textures, materials, and colours in kitchen design to add depth and visual interest to a space. Layering finishes helps create a kitchen that feels dynamic and inviting, encouraging you to explore the room.

What is your favourite Nolte Kitchen range/feature?

It has to be the Nolte neoBOX drawers that light up when you open them, along with the illuminated rails that provide subtle, hidden mood lighting. Lighting plays a huge role in kitchen design for me, as it adds atmosphere, highlights key features, and helps bring the whole space to life.

What is your best piece of design advice?

Always be prepared.

Any fun facts or hobbies outside of design?

I’ve been fortunate to visit many places around the world and I enjoy experiencing different cuisines, especially from local cultures. When I’m at home, I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Between my garden and allotment there’s always something to do, and I love growing my own ingredients to cook with in my own kitchen.
