Ivana Radosavljevic

I hold a qualification in Interior Design and Marketing, and I've built extensive experience in fitted furniture design throughout my career. At our Tunbridge Wells showroom, I bring that background to every kitchen project. I'm naturally inquisitive — I want to understand not just the style of kitchen a client is looking for, but their lifestyle, family dynamics, and the look and feel of the rest of their home. That holistic understanding is what shapes every design I produce.

Tell us about your design style and approach?

No two kitchens are ever the same, and I design each one from scratch based on the individual client. I ask clients to send me images of kitchens they love, their own home, and any furniture they plan to buy — because context matters. From there, I typically take five to seven working days to develop the initial concept. Furthermore, I encourage clients to come to their first appointment with an open mind and all their ideas — likes and dislikes alike. That's where the fun begins.

What are your core strengths as a kitchen designer?

I'm thorough, curious, and detail-led. I consider every aspect of a client's life when designing their kitchen — from how they cook to how their family uses the space. Additionally, I have a strong eye for space planning and maximising every centimetre of a layout. I believe there's always a smart solution, regardless of the size or shape of the room.

How can I maximise my kitchen space?

Space planning is one of the most rewarding parts of kitchen design. There are so many clever ways to make a kitchen work harder — from maximising counter space and using tall tower units, to incorporating compact appliances and multifunctional furniture. Furthermore, layout zoning is a powerful tool for improving flow and convenience. Every kitchen presents a unique challenge, and I love finding the right solution for each one.

Are there specific materials or finishes you love working with?

I love the colour green, and I'm delighted it's currently on trend. Our black green finish is stunning — particularly when combined with a woodgrain accent. I'm also drawn to textured finishes and the natural warmth they bring to a space. Moreover, integrated appliances are always a strong choice, because they deliver a clean, uninterrupted look that never dates.

What is your best piece of kitchen design advice?

Come with all your ideas. Don't edit yourself before the appointment — bring everything, including what you don't like, because that's just as useful. Furthermore, bring your house plans if you have them, as they save a huge amount of time. Above all, come with an open mind. Together, we'll have fun designing a kitchen you'll love for years to come.
