How can I make the most of my space when it comes to my kitchen design?
This is a million-dollar question. There are so many aspects one needs to consider, and I will only name a few. Maximising counter space; using tall/tower units; using compact appliances; using multifunctional furniture; layout zoning etc. There are no 2 kitchens that will be the same.
What is your favourite Nolte Kitchen range?
I love the colour green and am very pleased that it is currently on trend. Our black green is stunning, especially when combined with a woodgrain accent.
What should I prepare for my design consultation?
Come with all your ideas; likes and dislikes. Come open-minded and we will have fun designing your new kitchen. Bring your house plans please.
What is your design process like?
I am inquisitive and would like to find out as much as possible about the person needing the new kitchen. Not just the style of kitchen they are looking for, but their lifestyle, family dynamics, and look and feel of the rest of the house/apartment. I consider all that when designing. Clients are encouraged to send me images of kitchens they like as well as their own house or images of furniture they intend to buy etc. It usually takes 5-7 working days to come up with the concept.
What current trends are you seeing in kitchen design, and how can we incorporate them into my project?
On trend are minimalist clean lines, textured finishes, lighter colurs are coming back and integrated appliances are always in.
What kitchen styles do you offer?
With Nolte, we can achieve any style the client wants. However, we are best at contemporary and modern styles.
