What is Matrix800?
Designed to bridge the gap between our current options, Matrix800 is a new 800mm carcass height that is already popular across Europe. It’s no surprise either as it enhances storage without any additional height giving you the perfect fusion of functionality, ergonomics and aesthetics.
With more storage compared to our Matrix750 yet not as tall as Matrix900, Matrix800 is a versatile option for all kitchen sizes and layouts. One of the best things about it is that it allows for more drawer and pull-out configurations meaning you can create truly unique patterns that suit your needs and lifestyle.
Even better, it seamlessly integrates with our existing line, so you don’t need to worry about adjusting dimensions or seeking out custom options. In fact, it makes kitchen design planning with Nolte even easier.
The benefits of Matrix800
An ideal balance of storage and height, Matrix800 is a convenient and versatile choice for homeowners looking for more space without sacrificing on overall look. Allowing for deeper drawers and taller pull-out units, and designed to bring flexibility to kitchen planning, Matrix800 offers a range of layout possibilities.
For example, you could opt for configurations like 400/400mm drawers or 200/200/400mm set-ups for a balanced look. Alternatively, you can add on an additional interior drawer within a 200mm front, ideal for storing cutlery or smaller utensils. In addition, deep pull-outs and drawers are ideal for hiding large pots and pantry supplies – keeping everything organised yet within reach. What’s more, the lower plinth heights in Matrix800 designs also provide a more seamless and integrated look – ideal for open-plan layouts.
Another standout feature of our Matrix+ range is that homeowners can choose from the 750, 800 and 900mm heights without having to adjust other layouts or dimensions. This is because the recess height for wall units remains the same, at 600mm, for a streamlined look. Available in both handle and handleless designs, homeowners can also enjoy the benefits of Matrix800 no matter their handle preference.
How it compares to Matrix750 and Matrix900
Currently, there are three options in the Matrix+ range meaning there’s a solution for every homeowner and their dream kitchen. Matrix750, our standard carcass height, is compact and suitable for all kitchens no matter their size. While it provides less space than our newer Matrix800 option, it’s a good choice for those who want more storage without increasing kitchen dimensions.
In contrast, our tallest option, Matrix900 offers up to 20% more storage compared to Matrix750 and an ergonomic working height. Positioned between both of these options, Matrix800 is the best of both worlds – offering increased storage without the need of a large space or height making it suitable for all kitchen sizes, layouts and styles.
