Tell us about your design style and approach?
When you book a consultation with me, you can expect a relaxed and straightforward experience. I start by discussing your space, your needs, and your vision. From there, we work together to shape a layout and look that ticks all the boxes. I keep in regular contact throughout — whether by phone, email, or in person — to make sure everything stays on track. Timeframes vary by project, but I always aim for an efficient journey from concept to completion.
What are your core strengths as a kitchen designer?
I specialise in kitchens that are practical, well-planned, and tailored to real life. I'm a strong communicator and I listen carefully before I design. Additionally, I have a solid commercial understanding of the kitchen industry, which means I can balance creativity with budget and timeline realities. Clients consistently tell me the process feels straightforward and stress-free.
How can I maximise my kitchen space?
Smart design can transform any kitchen, regardless of size. It starts with understanding your layout, lifestyle, and priorities. For example, clever storage solutions, multifunctional zones, and maximising natural light can all make a space feel significantly larger. Furthermore, I'll always look for opportunities to improve flow and convenience — because a kitchen that works well every day is just as important as one that looks beautiful.
What is your favourite Nolte Kitchen range/feature?
One of my current favourite combinations is Tavola Oak Barolo paired with Lugano Black. Together, they strike a perfect balance between natural warmth and contemporary sophistication. The oak brings timeless character and depth, while the Lugano Black adds a sleek, modern edge. Moreover, it's a pairing that works across a wide range of home styles — from classic to contemporary.
What is your best piece of kitchen design advice?
Trust your designer — and be open and honest throughout the process. Clear communication is the key to a successful project. A kitchen is a deeply personal space. Therefore, the more you share about your lifestyle, taste, and how you truly live, the more tailored and effective the final design will be. Don't hold back, because every detail helps.
